I know, I know, you must be wondering "what is their mother doing while they are eating crayolas?" This time I cannot blame the eating of crayolas on the fact that I was watching reality television. Nope, not this time. While the purple crayola was being chewed up and spat out, I was cleaning the kitchen. Yep, I was doing something productive. (only because i had none of my fave shows on the dvr. something to do with it being rerun season.) Ok, so anyway, Jase wanted to color and whatever Jase does, Cole has to do too.
I left them instructions to only color on paper and nothing else. I returned to my duties and after about 15 minutes Jase came to tattle. Only this time I am glad that he told on his brother. I wish so badly that I had my camera when I walked into the room. Cole had purple all over his mouth, chin, and teeth. After I did a quick clean up of Cole and grabbed my camera...this is what I get from Cole...
Showing me that there in no more in his mouth. Nice purple tongue, Cole!As for the floor, the damage there wasn't as bad as last time but still not fun scrubbing crayola out of the carpet. Washable crayola? Not so washable when on carpet.
See, damage not so bad. I had to laugh at the situation because Cole picked the purple crayola to eat...again. I was told to take out all the purple crayolas and see if he eats anymore. Kinda funny, but actually had thoughts of trying it out!
In closing, I have officially learned my lesson. No more coloring on the floors. Coloring will now take place on the table...where eating is supposed to take place!
