Invitations?...check!
Bedroom clean?...check!
Time spent with the boys?...check!
Did I relax?...Double check!! (i managed to get 9 hours of sleep on more than one occasion!!)
Mother's Day gift?...umm...not so much.
I did not get the Mother's Day gifts completed. I did attempt to start, but got sidetracked on more than one occasion. So I have resorted to a different gift. Hope the grandmother's will be happy with a card and a phone call for the time being.
Anyway, we were fortunate enough to get to the beach this week! I even got a little sunburn on my shoulders. Only wish the sun could have found my white legs, but no such luck! The boys loved playing in the sand, and yes, Cole ate it! But he didn't seem to enjoy it as much this time. It was a little windy so we got pelted with the sand a couple times but it was a pleasant afternoon. No, we didn't get in the water. Even though it was 90 degrees outside the water was still a bit chilly! I'm not even sure we'll be getting in that water when it is warmer. We enjoyed the sun and the sand. I think we brought most of the sand home with us!

After looking at these pictures...my boys need to get some sun!! Well, honestly we all do! Looking at pictures of last summer, we all had a nice golden tan!

In other news, the busy season is fast approaching us. My classes are back in full swing, we're preparing for a move across base (i am still questioning when and if this will actually happen), we're gearing up for 1 of 2 trips back South, and planning Cole's 1st birthday party! Busy, fun times await us! We can't wait!
