Playdate!

The boys and I are venturing outside the confines of our two bedroom apartment and meeting new people! Today we had a play date with the MOPS group I found through the church we have been attending. I am excited to meet new moms and for the boys to meet new friends! However, my boys seem to be outnumbered...there are girls everywhere! Only two other boys there today. Where are the other boys? I need to find that playgroup!

Anyway, at today's play date Cole discovered sand...discovered he likes to eat sand. Sadly, I did not have my camera nearby so I did not get any pics of his cute little face covered with sand! Jase did not really interact with the other kids (all around his age) he seemed to content to play by himself. Jase seemed to "act" a little older than the other kids...could this be why there wasn't much interaction? I don't know, but I am hoping this will change once he starts school in the fall.

I chatted with a few of the moms who all seemed nice. Although, I wasn't able to do much getting acquainted, I was too busy trying to minimize the amount of sand Cole was shoving into his mouth! So I am looking forward to our next MOPS meeting...when the moms are in one room and the kids are in another!
