I wrote this last Wednesday and got distracted by a little squabble...some stinginess and biting in retaliation to the stinginess, so I forgot to come back and post. This happens frequently around here...me forgetting what I am doing! Anyway, pretend it is last Wednesday!!
Cole is 11 months old today! Wow! In one month we will be celebrating his first birthday with cake and ice cream…all of which he will truly enjoy eating! My little Coley (my nickname for him) is growing much too fast. Oh, alright, I’ll spare you the emotional words of a mother whose last little baby is growing up….until next month!
Anyway, back to the eating. Coley boy definitely has an appetite! We’ve known this all along, but now that he’s off formula (a whole different story, you can ask questions if you’d like, but paranoia was behind my decision on taking him off formula a month or so before his first birthday), it is more apparent this kid is ready for his first T-bone! If only he had more teeth, although I’m pretty sure he’d take care of a steak, with or without teeth!
Cole has no problem finishing his food, and then moving on to his brother’s plate; where there is always food left over. For breakfast a couple mornings ago, Cole had his two pieces of toast then finished off Jase’s waffles! (on a normal day, cole will have yogurt after his toast. but today he opted for the waffles instead!) Jase eats like a bird and Cole loves this! Jason, on the other hand, is having some issues with Cole eating Jase’s leftovers. You see, Jason usually eats what is left on both mine and Jase’s plate. Not anymore, he has to share now!

Cole enjoying some breakfast!
How cute! He is starting to look like Jase. My kids are the same way, Uriah has always picked at his food, I sometimes think that he could go for days and not care if he ate or not. Isabelle on the other hand, must have some sort of food with her at all times!
