Just A Quick Catch Up

Taking a brief moment here to update this long lost but not forgotten blog. It's been 5 months since I last post, and yes, sooo much has kept this little family busy. Here's a run down.

1. I ran my first 5K. Did not meet my goal of 30 minutes...finished in 31 minutes and some change. Currently, I am training for my very first half marathon. Stay tuned.

2. I got a job. Yes, you read that right, I got a job. I still have that job. I am a teachers aide for the 3 year old class at the Mother's Day Out at our church. I love it.

3. Cole started PreK and he loves it. He loves his teacher. He only goes half day...he cannot wait for next year...full day Kindergarten. Mom secretly cannot wait for full day kindergarten either.

4. Jase and Cole played soccer this past fall. Jase dominated the field. Okay, so maybe not dominated but he definitely took care of business. Cole loved playing and smiled the whole time he was on the field.

5. We took our first family vacation to Disney World!!! It really was a magical place where dreams come true! It was a wonderful vacation and the time the four of spent together was very much needed.

6. Jason went on a hunting trip to West Texas. Spent 3 days in Mexico, well almost Mexico, hunting deer. Sadly, he did not come home with a deer.

7. Christmas was spent at home. We rang in 2013 freezing in Oklahoma. I ran a New Year's Day 5K...it felt like 18 degrees that morning. Burrr.

So there it is...just a few blog worthy events that occurred since my last post. Check back more often...more to come. As the boys get older, the crazier our lives get or should I say, the crazier my life gets! It often resembles a three ring circus here in our home, it makes me crazy but at the end of the day when I lay my head on my pillow, I love every minute of it.
