It is so much fun to watch kiddos under 6 chase the ball and each other up and down the field. Doing this in the Texas heat makes it so much more fun. Really.
Jase's first game was last week and he did great. I believe him to be the next, umm, David Beckham. I chose David Beckham, well because other than Mia Hamm, he is the only soccer player I am aware of. Cut me some slack here 'cause I had no idea soccer even existed until a couple years ago when I Googled David Beckham. Hehe!
Anyway, soccer really is fun and Jase is having a blast. He is even somewhat good when he's not looking to see if we're watching or trying to catch bugs. I must remind myself he's only 5 and has an attention span of the 5 year old he is.

Now I'm off to Google the rules of soccer so that I can yell, I mean cheer, at the games and not be afraid of sounding as clueless as I really am.
