Jase is excited too which makes my excitement much more easier to express. He is already asking if he can eat lunch at school or if he should take his lunch. He is a little upset that flip flops are not on the schools list of approved attire. I guess in his five year old mind since he lives in Texas he should be able to wear flip flops to school, and all year round for that matter.
I chatted with some ladies in the school office this morning and I feel confident that this school is going to be great for Jase. Everyone I spoke with today and last week at the informational meeting are all so nice and friendly. Reasons why I am so excited for Jase to start kindergarten.
August 18 we will meet Jase's teacher. August 22 the first day of school. I wish you could see the big smile on my face as I typed "the first day of school"!!
