Rewind...

I have to take some time to recap our busy summer. I think I did talk about my birthday and the visit from my high school bff and her hubs. Their visit kicked off the summer festivities.

July 2010 ~

We took a little family vacay over to Pennsylvania to visit Sesame Place and the city of Philadelphia. The boys had so much fun at Sesame Place swimming, floating down the lazy river, and going down the water slides (Jase not Cole). The only bad thing about going to Sesame Place in July was the 100+ degree temps. I thought we were going to melt walking through the park. But the boys had so much fun which made Jason and I happy. The next day we drove into Philly to see the steps from Rocky aka the entrance to The Philadelphia Museum of Art. We posed for pics in front of the Rocky statue then Jason and the boys ventured half way up the steps...was another 100+ degree day. After nearly collapsing from the heat we filled up on some famous Philly cheese steaks. If you are ever in Philly and can't decide between Geno's or Pat's...have both!

Next up in July was the visits from our family! The Johnson/Wik family was the first group to arrive followed by the Fixico family. We had a great time playing NYC tour guides, spending time with our family, and witnessing a marriage proposal at the Statue of Liberty!

The end of July found us saying "see you later" to our families and Jason. Jason was deployed to the Gulf Coast to do his part in the oil spill clean up. So long July, you were a busy, fun month.

August 2010 ~

August found the boys and I burning up in Oklahoma while Jason was working in Louisiana. We spent a lot of time with family and eating and eating and eating. The boys spent some time in Louisiana with their Nana and PawPaw Kipp and visited all the Louisiana family. They had so much fun swimming and enjoyed the attention!

September 2010 ~

Before we headed back to NY, Grams and Papa Mike took the boys and I to the Oklahoma Aquarium. The boys loved feeding the turtles and had lots of fun seeing all the fish. We packed up, said 'bye 'bye to everyone and headed back to Jason in NY.

So, I summed up our summer the best I could. We had so much fun spending time with our family and friends. This summer flew by and now here we ready for fall and dreading winter.

We love you family and friends and enjoyed our time spent together. Now, here are some pics. Enjoy!
