29 Years Young

I officially entered the last year of my twenties at 6:21am (right, mom?). I don't feel any different than I did at twenty-eight and now I'm just wondering what the big 3-0 is going to feel like. Will I feel different then?

I have done a lot of growing up in my twenties and have been blessed so many times over. I fell in real love in my twenties, became a wife, made many new friends, traveled (yes, only in the U.S. but still counts as travel!), became a mother, became friends with my sister, grown a greater appreciation for my mom, returned to college, forgave, and lived in NYC. All in my twenties. Just to name a few, in no particular order.

To celebrate the last year of my twenties am I going to continue to grow, so that when I am officially not in my twenties anymore I can quickly adapt to my thirties (eek!) and be a real grown up.

Ok, enough with that stuff. I had a great birthday with great friends, and of course, Jason and the boys. I could not have asked for a better day. Well, really I could have...having my mom and sister to spend the day with would have been the icing on the cake. But I had my best friend and Coastie family with me so the day was great.

Here's to 29 years...they've been great!
