Twisters and Tissues

We arrived in Tornado Alley aka Oklahoma on a Friday, visited the cellar on Monday, and had threats of tornadoes every day but today...the following Friday. Monday was a bad day in Oklahoma for tornadoes. Well, pretty much every day has been bad. Clean up is going on from Monday's twisters. Prayers for everyone affected.

I left NY sick. I landed in OK sick. I have been sick every. single. day. I have been home. I've gone through 6 (i'm currently working on my 7th) boxes of tissues. My nose is beginning to heal and be something other than red. I visited the doctor while here; antibiotics, antihistamine/decongestant, and cough medicine was the remedy. Although, I think a frying pan to my head would have put us all out of our misery. Seriously.

I cannot call this trip wasted, even with the tornadoes, rain, and sickness. My goal was to relax and not run all over the place and we did just that. Success!
