Ok, beware because I have to go off on a quick rant. I had some issues with the Easter bunny coming to our house this year. After a friend and I stressed over what to get our kids for Easter, I decided that buying Easter gifts was ludicrous. After all, Easter is not about some bunny and the gifts that that bunny brings. Easter, beginning with Good Friday, is about the death and the resurrection of Jesus. So my issue is that I did not and do not want my boys growing up expecting gifts from a bunny at Easter. I want them to know the true meaning of Easter. After much deliberation with Jason, my mom, and even my sister, we (Jason and I but mainly me) made the decision to go ahead with gift giving but make sure that Jase and Cole know the real reason we celebrate Easter. FYI...Jase can tell you the meaning of Easter :) Ok, I am done :)

Sorry, there was no getting a picture of the boys together. Believe me I tried. And tried.
After we all got dressed up we headed off to church. We did manage to get a picture of all of us after church but there will be no posting of that picture. Lets just say I made a major wrong wardrobe decision...one that made me look like I was about 6 months preggo. Minus me and a bad dress the picture was a nice one. Perhaps I'll crop myself out and post the picture. Anyway, Jason left for VA after church and the boys and I headed over to have Easter dinner with some good friends.
We had a wonderful day.
Oh, only one more Easter to be had in NY!
