I'm a real Mom now!

The past week's events:

Monday: Preschool orientation, trip to Sam's
Tuesday: Jason and I attended the funeral service for the pastor of our church
Wednesday: Jase's dentist appointment
Thursday: Jase's 1st day of preschool, grocery shopping, Jase's doctor's appointment, friends over dinner
Friday: Jase's 2nd day of preschool
Some time during the week I found time to do my school work

Ok, now that I look at it, we didn't have all that much going on. However, I was exhausted by Friday afternoon. I believe that after this week I am officially a mom! Yeah, I've been a mom for 3 and a half years but Thursday was my official initiation! School, appointments, and entertaining are the things a stay at home mom is supposed to do, right? And not run out of energy, right? Well, not this SAHM! She got a little tired and found comfort in a cup of coffee...more like 2 or 3 cups! I can't imagine if I had to do this and work. My hat goes off to all the working moms I know...you are my hero!

So now that I've had time to sleep (thanks to my awesome hubs who got up with the boys on Saturday morning!) and recuperate, I am ready to begin a new week!

Btw...I did not cry on Jase's first day. Nor did I cry on the second day when he did not even tell me bye. I managed to choke down that big lump in my throat and smile. Yay me!
